Applies to all users of MyCBT Exam
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using
MyCBT Exam, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of
MyCBT Exam (the "Platform"), including our website, the
MyCBT Exam mobile application, and any related services we provide.
By registering, ticking the acceptance box, signing in with a one-time code,
or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood,
and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18,
you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Platform, you represent that the information you provide is
accurate and that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.
3. Accounts & Login

Passwordless sign-in.
MyCBT Exam uses one-time codes (OTP) sent to your registered email
address. There is no password to remember. You are responsible for keeping
access to your email secure.

Accurate details.
You agree to provide a correct full name, phone number and email address
when registering, and to keep them up to date.

One account per person.
You may not create multiple accounts to abuse codes, referrals or free
trials.

Account security.
You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately
at support@mycbtexam.com
if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Access Codes & Offline App

Access to practice exams is unlocked with an access code
purchased from an authorised agent or directly from the Platform.

Each access code is valid for a fixed number of practice sessions
(currently 10 uses per code) unless otherwise stated at
the time of purchase.

Access codes are personal and non-transferable. Sharing a code with
another person may result in deactivation without refund.

The offline mobile app stores exam content on your device. You agree not to
copy, extract, redistribute or reverse-engineer that content.
5. Payments & Refunds

Prices for access codes and any paid features are shown at checkout and
are quoted in Nigerian Naira (₦).

Once an access code has been revealed or used, it is
non-refundable, except where required by law or where
the code is proven faulty and we cannot replace it.

Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not store your card
details on our servers.
Always buy access codes from an authorised agent or directly from
MyCBT Exam. Codes purchased from unofficial sources may be invalid
and are not eligible for refund or support.
6. Referral & Agent Program

Registered agents may earn a commission (currently ₦200
per successful referral, subject to change) for every new user who
registers with their unique referral code.

A referral only qualifies once the new user's account is successfully
created and (where applicable) an access code is purchased.

Self-referrals, fake accounts, or any attempt to manipulate the referral
system will result in forfeiture of earnings and possible suspension.

Withdrawals are subject to a minimum threshold and the payout schedule
published in your agent dashboard.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable Nigerian law;
- Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, servers, or databases;
- Scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute exam questions, answer keys, or any Platform content;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- Harass, abuse or threaten other users or staff.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including exam questions, explanations,
graphics, logos, and the MyCBT Exam name and brand — is owned by
MyCBT Exam or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and
international copyright laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the
Platform for personal exam-preparation purposes only. No other use is permitted
without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
MyCBT Exam is a study and practice tool. We do not guarantee that
using the Platform will result in any particular score, admission, or outcome
in any real examination.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCBT Exam shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for
any loss of data, profits or opportunities arising out of your use of the
Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you
paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Privacy
We collect only the information needed to run the Platform — primarily your
name, phone number and email — and we use it to create your account, send
login codes, and support you. We do not sell your personal data.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the
"Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify
you by email or in-app. Continued use of the Platform after changes take
effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject
to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
